Installation and Calibration Guide

Because each person has a different body resistance (typically around 1MΩ), the Bakon BK518-2 requires initial fine-tuning for accurate operation:

  1. Wear the ESD wrist strap and connect it to the monitor.
  2. Observe the status indicator light.
  3. Case A (Low resistance < 1MΩ): If the green light is not on, use a small screwdriver to gently turn the front “Adjust” knob to the Left to increase resistance until the Green light turns on.
  4. Case B (High resistance > 1MΩ): If the green light is not on, gently turn the adjustment knob to the Right to decrease resistance until the Green light turns on.
